For Transport Fever 3 Deluxe Edition items missing, restart Steam and wait for the extra Deluxe Edition content to finish downloading before reopening the game. This restored the missing download for two players. If Steam has not credited your Deluxe Edition purchase at all, a recovery method is not confirmed yet.
How do I get the missing content to download?
Close the game and restart Steam
If the Deluxe Edition is not applying even though your purchase appears in your library, restart Steam. Missing extras can remain unavailable until their additional download starts.
Wait for the additional content to finish
Check Steam's downloads before launching again. The base game can finish downloading before the Deluxe Edition addition and pre-order content; two players recovered their bonuses after waiting for those downloads.
Reopen the game and check the missing bonus
Look again for the item you were missing, such as the TEE (Trans-Europe Express). If it is still absent after the extra download finishes, a further verified recovery procedure is not confirmed yet.
Repairing the game files did not trigger the Deluxe Edition download for one player; restarting Steam did. File repair is not a confirmed solution to missing Deluxe ownership.
Do I need to enable Deluxe Edition content as a mod?
Whether manual activation is required is not confirmed yet. The available accounts disagree about enabling it in mod settings versus automatic activation.
One account places the Deluxe content in the mod tab after selecting a map type, rather than the main menu's mods tab. Another player checked that tab and found only Vehicles: No End Year, No Cost, Sandbox Mode, and Tycoon before restarting Steam to trigger the missing download. An empty Deluxe entry there does not establish that your purchase is missing.
Which bonuses can I check after downloading?
These are included in the Deluxe Edition. Their exact in-game availability conditions are not confirmed yet.
| Bonus group | Included content |
|---|---|
| Vehicles | Concorde, London Bus, Trans-Europe Express (TEE), Peterbilt 359, Hong Kong Tram, Sikorsky S-76 Spirit |
| Landmarks | Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal |
| Wildlife | Orca, Komodo Dragon, Boar Family, Bison |
| Handcrafted maps | Redrock Bends, Northern Gates, Emerald Shores |
| Extras | Tycoon Cars, three Fun Elements, Franchise Soundtracks |
What if I have a separate problem while checking?
If you cannot reach the game to check your bonuses, use Game Not Launching or Internal Error and Crash Fixes for that symptom. For questions about other installed mods, see Find and Move the Mod Folder and Find and Uninstall Mods.
Status as of October 6, 2026: Restarting Steam and completing the extra download restored content for players; a universal fix, manual activation requirements, and recovery of uncredited Deluxe Edition ownership are not confirmed yet.
